Mackay Isaac’s Lucky Catch and Snap Lucky Fish is a random draw competition. The lucky fish will start with a value of $500 and will jackpot $500 each day until the maximum pool of $10,000 is reached. At 6pm each night from April 5 to April 26, a random draw will happen across the following three criteria:1. A location – One of twenty locations across the Mackay and Isaac regions. These will be published in advance so you know where the lucky fish is.2. A species – A species that can be caught at that location, the list for each location is available on the Where can I fish page, and 3. A length – Depending on the species, up to 120cm in length (to the nearest cm)If a fish you caught and registered with us via the Lucky Catch and Snap mobile application that day is a match across all three criteria, you win the cash!!
The New Plymouth Sportfishing & Underwater Club was formed in 1995 as a result of the merging of the New Plymouth Underwater and the Taranaki Cruising and Sportfishing Clubs. The club is based at the Habourview Clubrooms on Oceanview Parade, New Plymouth, New Zealand. Round 3 of the annual Top Boat series takes place on April 4-5th 2025.

NRSFC Ladies Fishing Classic is a female only team fishing competition run by Nhulunbuy Regional. This is the largest women’s event in Australia with both Individual and Team awards available. This event is a points based event with best two fish per species per day.

Round 1 of the series is a teams event on Lake Windamere New South Wales. This is a two day event with winning team determined based on best 10 Golden Perch total length.

The Justin Scott Fishing Classic was established in 2020 to honour the memory of Justin Scott, who tragically passed away in a boating accident. The loss rocked his friends, family, and the wider community, many of whom were involved in the search to bring him home. This event now serves as a way for everyone impacted by Justin’s life and passing to come together and celebrate his memory.

Welcome to the third round of the Teams Fishing Australia Championships with the 2025 LOWRANCE STATE OF ORIGIN held at Lake Hume New South Wales. This is a teams event with winners determined by their best 10 Golden Perch combined over the two days, with teams ranking determining the state that takes home the glory.
Our 20th Annual Fishing Competition will take place back home in Whakatane with briefing on Thursday 27th February and fishing from the 28th of February to the 1st of March 2025.
