The New Plymouth Sportfishing & Underwater Club was formed in 1995 as a result of the merging of the New Plymouth Underwater and the Taranaki Cruising and Sportfishing Clubs. The club is based at the Habourview Clubrooms on Oceanview Parade, New Plymouth, New Zealand. Round 2 of the annual Top Boat series takes place on January 4-5th 2025.

2024 SGGFC : SNAPPER & GUMMY CHALLENGE
The 2024 South Gippsland Game Fishing Club, Snapper & Gummy Challenge is on again! Running from the 15th of November to 23rd of November 2024. Fishing out of Port Welshpool winners are judged based on largest and most fish from both species – Snapper and Gummy Sharks.
WAIKATO NZ – SUMMER MEASURE CHAMPS
We are based in Hamilton, Waikato and our club rooms are situated on the mighty Waikato River, New Zealand. We are affiliated with the New Zealand Sport Fishing Council (NZSFC) and the International Game Fish Association (I.G.F.A). We as a club host a range of different fishing tournaments throughout the year. From hard-core game fishing tournaments, to family orientated fishing weekends away. The Summer Champs allows members to make the most of their summertime fishing.
TE ANAU MANAPOURI FISHING CLASSIC
The Stabicraft Te Anau Manapouri Fishing Classic, held every Labour Weekend, is the perfect opportunity to soak up majestic views of Fiordland and the Te Anau Basin.
It really is a fishing competition for the whole family – adult, junior (12-17 years) and child (11 and under) anglers lining up to catch a fish.
