IMPORTANT NOTE – deleting your data mid event will result in any catches you have lodged being deleted as well and your entries on the scoreboards will be removed as well. This data cannot be recovered so understand by deleting your account mid event you are withdrawing your entries.
This will affect all Track My Fish apps, once your data is deleted all history across all events will be deleted.
Procedure for Deleting Data
The standard for most events is to use the TMF Tournaments app but some events have their own app. If unsure check with the event organiser.
Events with their own App:

At the bottom of the screen enter the fish details:
→Enter first name & last name of the fisher to assign to.
→Select the species.

→Once all the photos and data are loaded, press SUBMIT button
Short answer - check the event rules.
Track my fish does track where you submit the catch from but the angler remains in control. Some events require that location services are turned on as proof that a catch was from within the boundaries of the event but for most events this is not mandatory. You can switch off location tracking either in the app settings or when you install the app by saying no to the tracking locations prompt.
The list of all the fish will show that you have logged. Under each log will show if the data & image has been
received. For example:
If it reads green RECEIVED, it means the data AND the image has been received to the server.
If it reads red NOT SENT it means neither the data or images has been sent and therefore not received.
If it reads orange IMAGE NOT SENT it means the data has been received (fisher, length, type etc) but the images have not been received.
If you have either the red or orange, you will need press the SUBMIT ALL button located on the top RIGHT of the screen so its re-uploads. Please keep checking until all your logs show green.
There are a couple of reasons to check the status of catches. First there may be issues with the catch such as missing a mandatory element
The scorecard can be accessed either in the Information section or the Event Live section depending on which app is being used.
NOTE: If you are submitting on behalf of other people you can still see catches you submit in the scorecard even after they have been allocated to another person.
If you see ACCEPTED IMAGE RECEIVED next to the entry, it is the confirmation that the fish and therefore your score for that fish in the server have been accepted i.e., no discrepancies in your scoring.
If you see SUBMITTED IMAGE RECEIVED, it means the data and image have been received but the official scorechecker is yet to verify and accept your entry. This simply means the data is still to be checked.
If you see SUBMITTED IMAGE NOT RECEIVED, it means the data has been received but not the image. Go to the LOG page in the previous question and follow the resubmission steps.
If a submission is missing, it’s either been rejected (the score does not count due to breach of rules) or nothing at all has been received. If your submission is missing, go back to your log (see previous question) and check your data has been upload. If it is showing as green RECEIVED and the submission is not in the CHECK MY SCORE, your fish has been rejected.
NOTE – in any issue of the above, please do not resubmit data or a fish. If you have queries, please contact the Track My Fish team member.
NOTE – if you submit an incorrect size or species or assign to the incorrect angler, please do not resubmit your data or fish. If this occurs, please contact the Track My Fish team member asap.
The process for checking scores is the same for teams and individuals but if the event is a team event the scorecard will show all team members catches. Any member of the team can access the scorecard and if there are any issues, let the track my fish team know.
The scorecard can be accessed either in the Information section or the Event Live section depending on which app is being used.

All Track My Fish apps have the ability to store catches on the phone for later submission, but it’s important to consider transmission times if fishing outside of service areas. Many events have cut-off times for entries and depending on the amount of signal.
In the top right hand corner is a green online button. When this is clicked off the button will turn grey, signifying that the app is in offline mode.
When the app is in offline mode, catches will be stored on the phone but not submitted. If fishing in an area with very poor signal it is a good idea to switch the phone into airplane mode to conserve battery.
When the offline button is clicked back to online, any catches outstanding will be submitted. Where possible try to have at least 3 bars of 3G before submitting catches.
It’s also important to check the log after submitting to ensure all images have been successfully submitted. If they haven’t try again or get into a location with better signal.
The scoreboard can be accessed either in the Information section or the Event Live section depending on which app is being used.
NOTE: Many events have a "secret scoreboard" and a cutoff time for that to be enabled. Once the scoreboard goes secret, the in app scoreboard will no longer be updated until after the event.
