WRFL – OCTOBER ROUND

Welcome to the October Round of the Women’s Recreational League. This is round 11 for 2024/5. This round is conducted across the month with fishing in any location in across Australia, with State vs State rounds on the line. Round winners are determined based on total points cumulative for all fish submitted. This round includes Juniors under the Shimano Minnows category.
MAX’S CAST FOR A CURE

We began Max’s Cast for a Cure Fishing Competition as a perfect way to honour Max’s life. He was such a smart and happy boy, he was always eager to get out on the boat and was determined to catch a bigger fish than dad. As Charlie Teo brought many more years of fishing and laughter to our little boy’s life, we thought this would be the best way to honour. Max’s life and to raise awareness of childhood brain cancer.
TWIN RIVERS BREAM CLASSIC

Welcome to the June and Final Round of the MANGAWHAI Boating and Fishing Club. This round is conducted across the month with fishing around the Mangawhai township, north of Auckland New Zealand.

MANGAWHAI NZ – MAY ROUND

Welcome to the April Round of the MANGAWHAI Boating and Fishing Club Annual Series. This round is conducted across the month with fishing around the Mangawhai township, north of Auckland New Zealand.
BARRA NATIONALS

The Barra Nationals is an icon on the national fishing tournament scene. Currently the largest competition with 70 teams, 210 anglers registered to fish the iconic Daly River. The history of this tournament has regularly seen it at the forefront of innovation, marketing and how to have fun. In the industry it is generally regarded as a benchmark for fishing tournaments in Australia.
WAIKATO NZ – THE BIG 4

We are based in Hamilton, Waikato and our club rooms are situated on the mighty Waikato River, New Zealand. We are affiliated with the New Zealand Sport Fishing Council (NZSFC) and the International Game Fish Association (I.G.F.A). The Big 4 targets the iconic species of the region across the last two weeks in April.
NZSFC YOUTH NATIONALS

The New Zealand Sport Fishing Council Inc (NZSFC), is a not for profit organisation originally founded in 1957 and incorporated on 3 March 1959, incorporation society number 223403. We currently have 50 affiliated member Clubs from the top of the North Island to the bottom of the South Island. The NZSFC Youth Nationals 2025 are just around the corner! This nationwide tournament, designed for junior anglers, runs from April 12th to April 27th, 2025, coinciding with the April school holidays.The tournament is a fantastic opportunity for kids under 18 to experience the thrill of fishing. With a structure similar to that of ‘The Nationals’, the event includes an all-tackle, measure-and-release format, and a points-based scoring system that encourages anglers to fish lighter line classes. Thanks to Daiwa NZ and Just Another Fisherman, there are some epic prizes up for grabs for the winning anglers!
