NZSFC YOUTH NATIONALS 2026

The New Zealand Sport Fishing Council Inc (NZSFC), is a not for profit organisation originally founded in 1957 and incorporated on 3 March 1959, incorporation society number 223403. We currently have 50 affiliated member Clubs from the top of the North Island to the bottom of the South Island. The NZSFC Youth Nationals 2025 are just around the corner! This nationwide tournament, designed for junior anglers, runs from April 12th to April 27th, 2025, coinciding with the April school holidays.The tournament is a fantastic opportunity for kids under 18 to experience the thrill of fishing. With a structure similar to that of ‘The Nationals’, the event includes an all-tackle, measure-and-release format, and a points-based scoring system that encourages anglers to fish lighter line classes. Thanks to Daiwa NZ and Just Another Fisherman, there are some epic prizes up for grabs for the winning anglers!

NEW PLYMOUTH TOP BOAT ROUND 3 2026

The New Plymouth Sportfishing & Underwater Club was formed in 1995 as a result of the merging of the New Plymouth Underwater and the Taranaki Cruising and Sportfishing Clubs. The club is based at the Habourview Clubrooms on Oceanview Parade, New Plymouth, New Zealand. Round 3 of the annual Top Boat series takes place on April 11th 2026.

KP FISHING CHALLENGE 2026

The KP Fishing Challenge (also known as the 2026 KP Fishing Challenge) is an annual community fishing competition held in memory of a local mate, “KP”. Hosted by the Southern Districts Cricket Club (SDCC) in the Northern Territory, Australia, it is one of the most popular social events on the club’s calendar.

2026 NAROOMA AND SOUTH COST FLATHEAD CHALLENGE

The 2026 Narooma and South Coast Flathead Challenge is a team-based, catch-and-release fishing competition scheduled for the weekend of March 28–29, 2026. Hosted from Club Narooma, the event is managed via the REEL IT IN App, allowing anglers to compete across multiple locations on the New South Wales South Coast.

2026 GOODLINE LADIES FISHING CLASSIC

NRSFC Ladies Fishing Classic is a female only team fishing competition run by Nhulunbuy Regional. This is the largest women’s event in Australia with both Individual and Team awards available. This event is a points based event with best two fish per species per day.

2026 GAMEX

GAMEX is Western Australia’s greatest and most prestigious fishing event. Now in its 58th year, GAMEX has been responsible for more state, national and world records than any other Australian fishing tournament.GAMEX showcases Exmouth’s world class sport and game fishing options, with over 50 point scoring sport and game fish available, including all six Australian billfish species, and more than 27 individual prize sections. All fishing grounds are within very close proximity of boat ramps and marina facilities, meaning large and small boats can fish side by side with an equal chance of winning. GAMEX features 6 days of tournament fishing, as well as a whole range of activities and micro-events including fishing clinics, social nights, family activities, special guest appearances, filleting demonstrations, scientific studies, live entertainment and much more.

ABT BASS GRAND FINAL

Welcome to the ABT Bass Grand Final. The open is a 3 day event hosted on the RICHMOND RIVER near Ballina. This is a Boater/Non Boater event with the winner determine by the best 5 Bass by Weight per day using a length weight curve.

2025 SGGFC : SNAPPER & GUMMY CHALLENGE

The 2025 South Gippsland Game Fishing Club, Snapper & Gummy Challenge is on again! Running from the 14th of November to 22nd of November 2025. Fishing out of Port Welshpool winners are judged based on largest and most fish from both species – Snapper and Gummy Sharks.

WRFL – NOVEMBER ROUND

Welcome to the November Round of the Women’s Recreational League. This is round 12 for 2024/5. This round is conducted across the month with fishing in any location in across Australia, with State vs State rounds on the line. Round winners are determined based on total points cumulative for all fish submitted. This round includes Juniors under the Shimano Minnows category.
