DETAILS:
The Normanton Barra Classic is an annual event held over Easter weekend.
Nominations are open from 5pm to 9pm Friday and 7am to 9am Saturday at Albion Hotel.
Fishing starts Saturday 6am through to Sunday 4pm and is allowed over more than 60 kilometres of the pristine Norman River.
Participants vary from local families to grey nomads to hard core fishos. All are most welcome.
Weigh-in times 7am to 5pm Saturday and 7am to 4pm Sunday. Prizes in Junior and Open sections for Heaviest Barra, Salmon, Catfish And Other Scaled Fish.
