2026 NAROOMA AND SOUTH COST FLATHEAD CHALLENGE

The 2026 Narooma and South Coast Flathead Challenge is a team-based, catch-and-release fishing competition scheduled for the weekend of March 28–29, 2026. Hosted from Club Narooma, the event is managed via the REEL IT IN App, allowing anglers to compete across multiple locations on the New South Wales South Coast.

ABT BASS RICHMOND RIVER 2026

The Richmond River in New South Wales is a challenging and dynamic Australian Bass Tournament (ABT) arena, known for its “drain-fest” style of fishing and the need for anglers to adapt to changing water clarity. It frequently hosts rounds of the Rapala BASS Pro Series and served as the venue for the 2025 BASS Grand Final. This is an Individual event with the winner determine by the best 5 Bass by Length/Weight Curve.

ABT BASS CLARENCE RIVER 2026

The Clarence River in New South Wales is a premier Australian Bass Tournament (ABT) arena, often hosting the Rapala BASS Pro Series and the BASS Australian Open. It is considered one of ABT’s favourite locations due to its “mighty” size and diverse fishing environments. This is an Individual event with the winner determine by the best 5 Bass by Length/Weight Curve.

2026 GOODLINE LADIES FISHING CLASSIC

NRSFC Ladies Fishing Classic is a female only team fishing competition run by Nhulunbuy Regional. This is the largest women’s event in Australia with both Individual and Team awards available. This event is a points based event with best two fish per species per day.

2026 GAMEX

GAMEX is Western Australia’s greatest and most prestigious fishing event. Now in its 58th year, GAMEX has been responsible for more state, national and world records than any other Australian fishing tournament.GAMEX showcases Exmouth’s world class sport and game fishing options, with over 50 point scoring sport and game fish available, including all six Australian billfish species, and more than 27 individual prize sections. All fishing grounds are within very close proximity of boat ramps and marina facilities, meaning large and small boats can fish side by side with an equal chance of winning. GAMEX features 6 days of tournament fishing, as well as a whole range of activities and micro-events including fishing clinics, social nights, family activities, special guest appearances, filleting demonstrations, scientific studies, live entertainment and much more.

JUSTIN SCOTT FISHING CLASSIC 2026

The Justin Scott fishing Classic was established in 2020 to honour the memory of Justin Scott, who tragically passed away in a boating accident.  Fished on the Burdekin River, the 2026 event is a Teams event determined by best 5 Barramundi.

BURRINJUCK DAM – GARMIN YELLA CLASSIC

FFC run affordable, competitive, team based, Freshwater fishing tournaments, where anglers compete for cash prizes, at some of Australia’s most iconic inland impoundments, chasing Golden Perch and the mighty Murray Cod. Round 1 of the series is a teams event on Lake Burrinjuck, New South Wales. This is a two day event with winning team determined based on best 10 Golden Perch total length.

EAFC 48th MAJOR ANNUAL FISHING COMPETITION

This is the longest running continuous fishing event in Australia. Based in Eden, NSW the competition commences on 7th March 2026 at 6.00am and concludes on Saturday 13th March 2026 at 11.00am. Scoring is best fish length to the mm with additional random draw and major prize draw of a boat.

This is a teams event with winners determined by their best 10 Golden Perch combined over the two days, with teams ranking determining the state that takes home the glory.

DOLLY DASH 2026

The New Plymouth Sportfishing & Underwater Club was formed in 1995 as a result of the merging of the New Plymouth Underwater and the Taranaki Cruising and Sportfishing Clubs. The club is based at the Habourview Clubrooms on Oceanview Parade, New Plymouth, New Zealand. Round 4 of the annual Top Boat series takes place on 6th-7th June 2026.

The Reel it In Flathead Challenge is returning to Lake Tyers in February 2026 & will be including for the first time the Gippsland Lakes!

This is a team event with teams consisting of 2-4 anglers. Fishing is lure only, no bait, and a catch, measure and release competition.
