The Reel It In Flathead Challenge hosted multiple events in 2025, including the Lake Tyers Flathead Challenge, and the Australian Flathead Challenge, featuring a new bream competition in October 2025.
SWAN RIVER CHASE 2025
Welcome to the Swan River Chase event hosted by the Fremantle Amateur Angling Club. Event takes place on the Swan River in the Heart of Perth Western Australia. Winner is decided by maximum of 4 fish submitted for each of Bream, Flathead and Flounder total cm. Juniors and Seniors are welcome.
2025 LOWRANCE BURRINJUCK CLASSIC
Welcome to the third round of the Teams Fishing Australia Championships with the 2025 LOWRANCE BURRINJUCK CLASSIC held at Lake Burrinjuck New South Wales. This is a teams event with winners determined by their best 10 Golden Perch combined over the two days.
BURRENDONG DAM – SHIMANO YELLA CLASSIC
FFC run affordable, competitive, team based, Freshwater fishing tournaments, where anglers compete for cash prizes, at some of Australia’s most iconic inland impoundments, chasing Golden Perch and the mighty Murray Cod. Round 4 of the series is a teams event on Lake Burrendong New South Wales. This is a two day event with winning team determined based on best 10 Golden Perch total length.
NICHOLSON ANGLING CLUB RD 12
Welcome to the Nicholson Angling Club Annual Series. Round 12 is a Club Round on Nicholson River, Victoria. This round focuses on best 5 black bream combined length.
2025 DELTA REEF GUMATJ GOVE FAMILY CLASSIC
NRSFC Ladies Fishing Classic is a female only team fishing competition run by Nhulunbuy Regional. This is the largest women’s event in Australia with both Individual and Team awards available. This event is a points based event with best two fish per species per day.
WRFL – OCTOBER ROUND
Welcome to the October Round of the Women’s Recreational League. This is round 11 for 2024/5. This round is conducted across the month with fishing in any location in across Australia, with State vs State rounds on the line. Round winners are determined based on total points cumulative for all fish submitted. This round includes Juniors under the Shimano Minnows category.
MAX’S CAST FOR A CURE
We began Max’s Cast for a Cure Fishing Competition as a perfect way to honour Max’s life. He was such a smart and happy boy, he was always eager to get out on the boat and was determined to catch a bigger fish than dad. As Charlie Teo brought many more years of fishing and laughter to our little boy’s life, we thought this would be the best way to honour. Max’s life and to raise awareness of childhood brain cancer.
