The Alure Ladies Fishing Classic fosters a supportive community for women of all ages and skill levels, with a strong emphasis on camaraderie and sharing experiences through a dedicated smartphone app and social media. The event includes prizes, giveaways, and an awards presentation, with a focus on catch, photograph, and release (CP&R).
FLATHEAD CLASSIC 2025

In 2024, we proudly reached our goals for the 30th anniversary of the Gold Coast Flathead Classic, a milestone that cemented the event’s status as a must-attend experience for anglers. The Classic has evolved into a vibrant hub, attracting enthusiasts from far and wide to take on the challenge of the mighty Flathead in the Gold Coast Broadwater.
But it’s more than just a competition; it’s a gathering where friendships are formed, stories are shared, and the passion for angling comes alive. As we reflect on this achievement, we remember the legendary catches, fierce rivalries, and unforgettable memories that have shaped the event’s history.
KING OF THE DAMS – QUALIFIER 1 2025

Welcome to the first round of the King of the Dams Barramundi Fishing Tournament series for 2025 hosted by Mackay Tournament Anglers. Qualifier 1 is held at Lake Kinchant located near the town of Mackay. Event format is Teams of 2 with winners determined by best 3 fish total length combined in cm.
MULLIES MARINE

The Mullies Marine Fishing Competition is an annual, open-to-everyone event held in Victoria, Australia, where anglers compete to catch the largest total length of eligible species, submitting photos of their catches via the Track My Fish app to win prizes. The competition features categories for seniors and juniors, with entry packs available for pickup or mail. It concludes with a presentation day at Mullies Marine, including a special guest talk and prize giveaways.
APEX KUNUNARRA BARRA BASH

Framed by the stunning landscapes of the East Kimberley, the Recfishwest Apex Kununurra Barra Bash is back from 25–28 September. Now in its 27th year, this much-loved event has become a true celebration of barra fishing, community spirit, and outback adventure. In 2024, it drew more than 1,400 anglers from across WA and beyond, cementing its place as the State’s largest fishing competition.
SIPS 2025

To celebrate 25 years of the Stocked Impoundment Permit Scheme (SIPS), the Freshwater Fishing and Stocking Association of Queensland, with the support of Infofish and Fisheries Queensland, is holding a statewide fishing competition across all active SIPS dams and weirs. Win a share of over $30,000 in prizes!
CORROBOREE PARK CHALLENGE 2025

Established in 1988, the Corroboree Park Challenge (CPC) has grown to become one of the Northern Territory’s most iconic family-friendly fishing events. Hosted annually by the Palmerston Game Fishing Club, CPC is all about fun, community, and celebrating the incredible waterways of the Top End.What sets CPC apart is its open format, welcoming members and non-members, junior and senior anglers, and families from across the NT and beyond. It’s fishing the way it should be: relaxed, adventurous, and filled with laughs.

Welcome to the Barra Australian Open round of the ABT Barra Tour. The Barra Australian Open is a 3 night event hosted on LAKE AWOONGA near Gladstone,Central Queensland. This is a Teams event (teams of 2) with the winner determine by the best 5 Barramundi by Weight per day using a length weight curve.
