Welcome to the second round of the Teams Fishing Australia Championships with the 2025 VENOM OPEN held at Lake Mulwala New South Wales. This is a teams event with winners determined by their best 5 Golden Perch/Best 5 Murray Cod combined over the two days.
WRFL – AUGUST ROUND
Welcome to the August Round of the Women’s Recreational League. This is round 9 for 2024/5. This round is conducted across the month with fishing in any location in across Australia, with State vs State rounds on the line. Round winners are determined based on total points cumulative for all fish submitted. This round includes Juniors for the first time under the Shimano Minnows category.

The Gold Coast Sportfishing Club is thrilled to announce the return of its highly anticipated 2025 Wilson Elite Flathead Series, proudly sponsored by Wilson. This premier competition will feature three action-packed rounds, plus an epic Grand Final, where the top anglers will battle it out.
$20,000 in cash and prizes will be on offer over the series.

ABT BREAM QLD OPEN
Welcome to the Round Six of the ABT Bream Tour. The Garmin round is a two day event hosted on COOLONGALOOK RIVER, NEW SOUTH WALES. This is an Individual event with the winner determine by the best 5 Bream by Weight per day based on Live Weigh In.
Wahine o te Moana Competition
The Mangawhai Boating & Fishing Club was first established in 1966, and in 1998 affiliated to the NZBGFC (now the NZ Sport Fishing Council Inc). You can join the club, and benefit from cheaper boat ramp fees, and lots of member only fishing competitions. Cheaper entry to open fishing competitions as well. The easter comp provides 9 days to enter fish in any of the big fish categories judged on longest to the fork.
