2025 FITZROY BARRA BASH
The Fitzroy River Barra Bash is an annual, closed-team saltwater barramundi fishing competition held in Queensland’s Fitzroy River Net-Free Zone, focusing on the biggest and most metres of barramundi and king threadfin salmon. Hosted by the Frenchville Sports Club, the event encourages sustainable fishing with a catch-and-release policy using lures only, and includes a boat draw and prizes worth over $90,000.
